Boyce Family

Benjamin Boyce

Benjamin Boyce, b. 18 September 1854 in Mansfield, Ohio, lived the last years of his life in Spokane Co., Washington. He died 10 April 1932, at the height of the Depression, in the Spokane County Hospital in Spangle, Washington and was buried in an unmarked, pauper’s grave in Marshall Cemetery. He was a loyal brother and uncle; perhaps even a more loyal husband, having never re-married after the death of his wife in 1883, 1-1/2 years after they were married. From that point on, he spent the rest of his life with his father, elder brother and that brother’s family.
